NW 57th Street Utilities Undergrounding Project

This project includes the conversion/relocation of existing aerial distribution facilities (above ground utilities) to underground hardened, storm-resistant infrastructure along NW 57th street corridor from NW 91st Avenue to Pine Island Road. The proposed work aims at providing an aesthetically pleasing and unified appearance along the NW 57th street corridor, with the installation of underground utilities extending the underground Power lines, AT&T and Comcast from NW 91st Avenue to Pine Island Road, consistent with the Tamarac Village’s completed corridor improvements from NW 94th Avenue to NW 91st Avenue. The proposed work includes approved agreements between the City of Tamarac and utility owners (FPL, AT&T and Comcast) for the installation of underground utilities along NW 57th Street corridor from NW 91st Avenue to Pine Island Road, completing the underground utilities for Tamarac Village.
