Westwood Blvd East Drainage Improvement Project
This in-house design project includes roadway and drainage infrastructure improvements spanning along Westwood Boulevard East from NW 94th Avenue/Westwood Boulevard to West McNab Road. The project focuses on enhancing the existing drainage system (piping, structures, etc.), ensuring long-term resilience and improving roadway conditions to mitigate water ponding concerns. The proposed work shall also include full-depth asphalt reclamation (milling and pulverizing of existing asphalt and underlying base materials, grading, compacting and asphalt surface course placement), catch basin and water valve adjustments, key cuts tie-ins with existing asphalt and driveway connections, curbing, sidewalk removal & installation at key locations, installation of new speed humps, ADA ramps, temporary and permanent pavement marking applications, swale grading and restoration in accordance with the technical specifications, design plans, and all applicable federal, state, county and local regulations.
