This project includes the design, permitting, and construction of the Fiber Network Expansion Project – Phase 3A. The proposed work includes expanding the underground fiber connection (Backbone) from Fire Station 78 to Sabal Palm Park to prepare for future enhancements such as integrated video surveillance, public Wi-Fi, and other smart infrastructure solutions.

STATUS: The Public Services team, City Attorney’s Office, Procurement Division, Information Technology team, and Bore Tech are currently coordinating the execution of an easement agreement with Florida Gas Transmission.
