This month is dedicated to raising awareness, encouraging kindness, and fostering inclusive, hate-free spaces for all. Tamarac is an officially designated Anti-Bullying and Anti-Hate Community, and we're committed to building a safe, respectful city for everyone who lives, works, and visits here.

We're launching the #TamaracBeKind campaign to inspire acts of kindness, inclusion, and empathy across our neighborhoods, schools, and businesses. Small actions make a big difference! Follow us on social media to see stories of kindness and share your own using #TamaracBeKind.

On Unity Day, wear orange to show your support for bullying prevention, inclusion, and kindness. Join us as we stand united against bullying and hate. Show your support: Tag us in your photos using #UnityDay2025 and #TamaracBeKind!

Citywide Anti-Bullying Initiatives

• Hate-Free Zones: Signs and inclusion statements installed in public buildings and parks.
• Resolution Passed: Official designation of Tamarac as an Anti-Bullying and Anti-Hate Community.
• Youth Engagement: Partnering with schools and student groups to promote positive culture.
• Community Partnerships: Supporting initiatives like Peace Across Broward Day and Choose Peace Week.

We were proud to join Broward County Public Schools in celebrating Choose Peace Week 2025 (Sept. 22–26)! In Tamarac, our focus continues to be on anti-bullying and anti-hate efforts. As we head into National Bullying Prevention Month this October, we're excited to launch #TamaracBeKind — a citywide campaign promoting kindness, inclusion, and respect in every corner of our community.
