Artificial Intelligence (AI) does not learn the way people do. It doesn’t study, think, or understand ideas. Instead, AI learns by reviewing large amounts of information and identifying patterns.
For example, when AI is trained to recognize words, it looks at how words are commonly used together. Over time, it becomes better at predicting helpful responses based on what it has seen before.
AI learning happens before people use it and continues as systems are improved by developers. AI does not remember personal conversations or learn about individuals unless it is specifically designed to do so.
Understanding how AI learns helps explain why it can be helpful—but also why people must review its results. AI is a support tool, not a replacement for human judgment.
