Card Security Code

The Card Security Code (CSC) is a 3 or 4-digit number that adds an extra layer of security to your credit card transactions. On most cards, it appears on the back, right after the card number. However, if you're using an American Express card, the CSC is located on the front, just above the card number.

This unique code helps protect against fraudulent charges by ensuring that the card is physically present during transactions. It prevents unauthorized use, such as someone attempting to make an online purchase using stolen card details from a receipt or other sources.
