INVITATION TO BID -- SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD SERVICES

The City of Tamarac (City) is soliciting proposals on behalf of the Tamarac Community Development Department, and members of the Southeast Florida Governmental Purchasing Cooperative located in Northwest Broward County to obtain the services of a qualified firm to provide School Crossing Guard Services.  

Status: Solicitation is scheduled for release March - April 2026.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS NO. 26-26R -- DESIGN/BUILD OF THE EASTSIDE COMMUNITY PARK PROJECT

The City of Tamarac is seeking to engage qualified firms to submit proposals for the Design/Build of the Eastside Park Community Center. The proposed project site is approximately 2.35-acre (surface land area), located in a parcel between Commercial Boulevard and Canterbury Lane, just east of the adjacent street The Common within the Shaker Village community at 5699 W. Commercial Blvd., Tamarac, FL 33321. The proposed elements of the project include a 10,000 SF Community Center, 10ft wide walking path, tennis court, basketball court, covered playground and associated equipment, observation deck/fishing pier, covered benches, trash receptacles, artwork slab, monument signs, video surveillance and security system, WiFi, fiber network infrastructure and other associated elements. The scope of services include developing cost estimate, design plans, construction documents, details, product specifications, permitting and construction of the Eastside Park Community Center. 

Status: Solicitation is scheduled for release at the end of March 2026.

INVITATION TO BID NO. 26-05B – NW 77TH STREET CROSSWALK PROJECT

The City of Tamarac has released ITB No. 26-05B for the NW 77th Street Crosswalk Project, which involves constructing a complete crosswalk signalization system at the intersection of NW 77th Street and Greenwood Boulevard. The project scope includes utility verification, site clearing, concrete removal, curb and sidewalk work, paver brick installation, pavement markings and signage, directional boring, electrical and conduit installation, and related landscaping and restoration.  

Status: Solicitation was Posted in Bids and Tenders on February 2, 2026 and closes on March 31, 2026.

INVITATION TO BID NO. 26-27B – NOB HILL ROAD AND HITAUS ROAD CULVERT GATE & ALUMINUN HEADWELL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

The City of Tamarac will be releasing ITB No. 26-27 to seek bids from qualified contractors for the construction of the Nob Hill Road and Hiatus Road Canal Culvert Gate and Aluminum Headwall Improvement Project.  The work shall include, but is not limited to: Verification of existing utilities and drainage facilities, Clearing and grubbing, Concrete removal, Construction of a concrete end wall, Installation of aluminum headwalls, Installation of a culvert slide gate, Access grate installation, Electrical work, Construction of an 8-inch concrete slab, Installation of a 6-foot-high vinyl-coated chain-link fence with gate, Riprap placement, Construction of concrete sidewalk and concrete curb, Guardrail temporary removal and storage, Backfill and site grading, Sodding, 24-inch, 12-inch, and 48-inch HDPE pipe extensions, 48-inch RCP pipe extension, Grouting of headwall pipe intrusion, and Desilting of the existing culvert

Status: Solicitation will be posted by March 31, 2026.
