Buffer Wall Project

City of Tamarac's Buffer Wall Program

The project involved designing, permitting, and constructing, Phase 6 of the Citywide Buffer Wall Project along Prospect Road. This section spans from approximately 250’ west of NW 15th Avenue to 50’ west of NW 19th Way. The design elements encompass concrete foundations, utility relocations, sidewalk enhancements, concrete columns, precast wall panels, and minor landscaping improvements.

Estimated Cost - $806,553

Citywide Buffer Wall Project Phase IIC (Design and Permitting)

Involves designing, obtaining permits, and constructing the Buffer Wall Pine Island North Project. Situated on the west side of Pine Island Road, between NW 79th and 81st Street, it encompasses the creation of around 1,260 linear feet of a precast system buffer wall. 

Additional components include concrete foundations, relocating utilities, constructing concrete columns, installing precast wall panels, and making minor landscape enhancements.

 Estimated Cost - $1,637,547

Citywide Buffer Wall Project Phase IIC (Design and Permitting)

Includes about 2,500 linear feet of a precast system buffer wall, landscaping, and irrigation. 

Phase IIC covers the north side of Commercial Boulevard, between NW 58th Way and Rock Island Road, and about 600 feet north on the west side of Rock Island Road. 

Design includes concrete foundations, utility relocations, concrete columns, precast wall panels, and associated landscaping and irrigation.
