[ARCHIVED] HE CITY OF TAMARAC’S FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATIONS BRING FAMILY-FRIENDLY FUN

TAMARAC, Fla. (June 27, 2024) – The City of Tamarac invites the community to two outdoor events to celebrate Independence Day. On Thursday, July 4, residents and guests can dive into Caporella Aquatic Center, 9300 NW 58th St., at noon, for a splashing good time, and at 6 p.m., sparks will fly during the All-American Celebration at the Tamarac Sports Complex, 9901 NW 77th St.

Residents, families and friends can splash at Caporella Aquatic Center for a red, white and pool party! The Patriotic Splash includes poolside games, arts & crafts activities, music and photo opportunities with characters. Admission is $5 per guest.

During the All-American Celebration, food trucks, various vendors, face painting and arts & crafts stations will be available for guests to enjoy from 6 – 9 p.m. Activities also include an outdoor concert by The Jam Band, a nine-person musical group. The sky will light up with a colorful fireworks display promptly at 9 p.m.

The All-American Celebration is free and open to the public. For the safety of all guests, personal fireworks, sparklers, tents, large bags, grills, alcohol, glass bottles and pets are prohibited upon entry. Guests are welcome to bring blankets or lawn chairs to enhance their outdoor experience.

All-American Celebration on-site parking is limited. Free event parking is available at Kings Point, 7620 N. Nob Hill Road, from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. Event attendees may additionally use the continuous free shuttle transportation from Tamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88th Ave., or Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd., from 5:30 – 8:15 p.m., and following the fireworks. An additional free shuttle will pick up guests from Redeeming Word Church, 2800 Prospect Road at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.

In observance of Independence Day on Thursday, July 4, City of Tamarac offices will be closed.
